You don’t need to go to a restaurant or fire up the grill to have a perfect burger. Your air fryer can make an incredibly delicious burger at home. This air fryer burger recipe is quick, easy, healthier, and mighty tasty.

Tools and Ingredients
- Air fryer
- 300g ground beef
- 1 small onion
- 2 Tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1-2 cloves garlic
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 egg
- Salt and pepper
Dice the onion into small pieces.
In a large bowl, mix all ingredients together. It works best to use your hands. Make sure the meat and seasoning are well combined.
Form the burger mixture into 4 patties. Use your thumb to make a good-sized indentation in the center of each patty. This helps the burgers stay uniformly thick and flat during cooking.
Place the patties in the fry basket, do not stack them. Set the temperature to 375° F. Cook for 8 minutes.
Check to see how well done the burgers are. Flip them over and cook for another 2-7 minutes, as needed. If you like your burgers more well done, they’ll need more time. 10 minutes may be all you need if you like your burgers rare to medium.
Tips and Considerations
Try adding a few drops of liquid smoke to your burger mix to create a taste similar to a grilled burger from a backyard barbecue.
It’s important to make sure your ground beef and seasonings are mixed well but don’t work the meat too much or the burgers will be tough.
To make your burger experience even better, use the air fryer to toast your buns as well. You can also use your air fryer to prepare some tasty burger toppings, like sauteed onions and mushrooms.
Optionally, you can spray the tops of your burgers with a little cooking spray before cooking.
If you want to make a mouthwatering juicy cheeseburger, just add a slice of cheese on top of each patty for the last few minutes of cooking.
